New lens, first try

This is the first try with the Lensbaby Composer Pro II and Sweet 50 Lens. It's not the best but for the first time and about half an hour of use I know I'm going to love this lens and the possibilities it offers. It will just take a little time to learn. All photos were taken of the same flowers. I posted the f stop I used with each photo. Camera was the Canon 80D. If you look close at each photo in download you will see the slight difference in each F stop. I thank Angela and Donna for getting me started with the Lensbaby optics. Great fun.....Rich

Well, I can't believe this is the same man that said he even dreams 'sharp'!!! This is a wonderful, Sweet set, Rich!!! You are going to love this lens and don't forget, you can also bend the neck on the Composer Pro for a different look!

Thank you very much. I did try bending the lens to the left. Here are the two photos. The first was very slight to the left and the second was a big bend to the left Both at F-4. The second I think was a little over done....Rich

Good work Rich. I too am an F64 guy, but those who use these lenses are first outstanding photographers and have a vision for the work they do. Enjoy, and let us see more.

It took me forever before I tried the bend, you are very daring... #1 is great and I can see you are enjoying this lens and I'm so happy for you!!! Can't wait to see what else you do!!
