That "belt" doesn't even touch the "private parts" of the horse. It goes around the flank of the horse which is a very ticklish part of the horse right in front of its hips. You can barely touch that part and the skin will move. All the animal is is doing is trying to get the rope away from that area.

Thanks gregory..no these were actually taken in Michigan last summer,someone else had posted rodeo pics and reminded me of these,but I didn't want to hijack their topic.

So why is the rope there?Couldn't the horse not be outfitted with it?
