Good you were not a passive passenger. Nice going

I have been over the bridge many times driving, and this was my first chance to do it after a long time of wanting to.

I was in the passenger seat so I was able to get some shots. This is 24mm. I stuck the camera as far out the window as I could and hoped for the best. The sun was in the frame. Using an 810 with a tamron 24-70.

Very nice fergmark

Excellent !!!! especially in B&W. I also have the Tamron 24-70 but I have it on my D750. No regrets so far with the Tamron. I did not want to spend $2,400 for Nikon's version with VR. But I wish I had opted for the D810 back in 2015 when I bought the D750. But the D810 was another $1,000

Wow. Super shot. One of the great advantages of being a passenger.

Great shot of a great new bridge...a whole new subject from South Nyack, Piermont etc. etc....we've been riding our motorcycles to the Ferry Road lookout during construction. I can't wait to get down there now that it's finally done.

As a Rocklander love that you called it the Tappan Zee and not the Mario Cuomo! Great picture.

taking pictures without seeing whats in the frame usually results in an unusual perspective. Kinda gets you out of the box.
glad you liked it Fran
