I agree. Watching him adjusting light on a print that large was amazing to me. I had never seen anyone do that. Back in the day I was a metallographer and used a Bausch and Lomb 8 x 10 plate film bellows Camera to take pictures from a Microscope. All black and white and no enlargements.
