I live in Oregon...the Meadowlark is the STATE bird....I haven't seen a live one in 40 years....The fields used to be full of them....now...none...(yes there is tears in my eyes). Beautiful pics..

What a fantastic setting for your meadowlark! There are many in the Yakima Valley, but all they have to perch on is sagebrush
