I've been playing around with pp and an image I thought had possibilities. Now after working awhile, added some texture and glow overlay, etc, I'd like some additional opinions. I was considering taking out the boat & house on the left side and maybe cleaning up the roof on the right side some. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance. (feel free to post any of your changes)

Personally, I don't think you added to the shot with the addition of the texture and glow. The re-worked shot is blurry and has a heavy yellow cast. I would probably go back to the original and add some red to bring out the building then crop some off of the bottom and left side. Not a bad shot, just needs a little tweaking.

Very much better. I hated the faded yellow edit of the original. The original colors are a lot better.

I am trying to edit the original in LR. The file plus a copy and its PSD are on my machine, LR does not show it even though it says it is in the catalog. I have never seen anything like this. Any ideas?

Not sure of the problem you are having, I did all the edits in LR. If you want I can send you the file.

Thank you for your comments. I agree with you. I was trying to add an afternoon glow, but it appears more washed out and yellowed. Your suggestions have helped. Thank you for taking the time to look.

I do like it, Bob. Very much. Brings out more color and detail all over. Thanks for taking the time to look and offer your suggestions.

Thanks for looking and commenting, abc1234. The glow didn't really help it much. And I even tried to mask out the background and keep the glow just on the building. Cross this off my attempts. :)
