After several years of UHHing, I would guess that the favorite (posted) subjects of UHHer photography are flowers, birds and landscapes. (No detailed analysis on my part, just gut instinct.)
Has anyone ever seen an authoritative analysis of what are the most commonly used photo subjects by the overall photographer population (not just UHH)?

Too many variables.
Most posted may not necessarily be the most popular subject. The most popular subject could be something else, but less people post.
Photos by whom? Anyone with a camera, including cell phones?

In the general population currently it is Selfies. However, serious photographers almost never photograph themselves.

Good point. I should have excluded selfies. Would it accurate that landscapes are the prime selfies background?

I would imagine a lot of photographers take photos of their family and would not post them. I take a lot of personal family photos which include my grown children, grandkids and great grandkids and along with friends and I would never post them on any internet site.
