Comments sought on use of either Panasonic 100-400 f/4-6.3 or MC-14 teleconverter with 300mm f/4 Pro on Olympus EM-1 Mk. II

Wondering if any Hoggers with an Olympus EM-1 Mk. II have used the
>Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3
and/or
>Olympus MC-14 1.4x Teleconverter with either the Olympus 40-150 f/2.8 Pro or the 300mm f/4 Pro lenses
I am considering both of these options for BIF and other wildlife, and would really appreciate any Hogger comments on their actual user experience.
I have read many reviews and looked at a number of Youtube videos, but none do this specific comparison.
Thanks,
Gary
If you haven't been to "mu43.com" that is the place to ask this question...it is a dedicated micro four-thirds user group site and very good. This question has been asked and responded to there. It has also been recently discussed on "dpreview.com" micro four-thirds forum...seems there is no consensus, both have their fans!
I have the Panasonic 100-400 on a Panasonic GX8. I like it a lot. I have no experience with the Olympus system. One of my goals is to collect video clips, along with stills of wildlife. My feeling is that Panasonic considers video to be a little more important.
My understanding is that Olympus and Panasonic lenses are interchangeable. However, there can be some subtle firmware differences when it comes to the advanced stabilization features in the two brands.
In other words, it may be best to stay within the brand.
