Very nice photo.
Thanks.Actually I had help. 8-)
I hope you do not take the below in a bad way. It is not meant to be. I do hope it helps. I may be wrong and others may disagree, but it is what I see.
It appears you focused on the print on the young mans shirt and the faces seem a little out of focus or should I say soft to me. Did you focus on the eyes? What f stop did you use?
The blurred background seems to indicate that you were shooting at around f2.8 to 3.5. F stops this wide mean that one has to pay critical attention to the focal point.
It is a nice photograph and nicely set up.

No no,I take no offense.I didn't say it,but I welcome C&C.I tried to focus on the eyes, locked the focus, and re-compose. I thought it looked like my best work to date, but I MIGHT be a little biased....lol
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Nice shot....I love the light on their faces......did You use a reflector or fill light?
You did a great job. the composition is good and that is surely 50% of the job. As a first shot (no pun intended) it is a good one.
If you can set something up in front of a tree or what have you, and try to achieve the blurry background with a higher f stop. It is hard to do but experiment.
Have you looked at camerasim.com it is a great interactive demo and can really help.
best
Not bad. Just tighten the crop on both sides a bunch. You do not need the extra information.
Good point a little cropping would go along way. Crop so that the rail by the boys arm is out of the pic and adjust other side. Give it a try and see how you like it that way.
Great pic of a very photogenic couple! Like it !!!
Thanks everyone. The picture has no PP just reduced size so UHH would post it. But other than converting it to Jpeg, it's straight out of the camera.
