I just planted a butterfly bush and It didn't take long to bear fruit.
Under wing is interesting

Yep, it is a Fritillary alright. It seems that they all look like they have been stuck to a car radiator at some point. I am so jealous. I have a true butterfly garden which includes 4 butterfly bushes. I have only seen one Monarch, one fritillary, 2 swallowtails. I do have tons of skippers and cabbage butterflies. Big deal. Nice pix by the way.

The #2 shot is really nice and the #1 profile is good too. All we seem to get are light bugs a once in a while a Monarch.
