Great example of how black & white is all about shapes, lines, and textures. The lighting is very well done. There are a couple of things that are a little disturbing. I'm sure that he must have the fingertips of his left hand tucked inwards but it appears that his fingers are amputated. It's also impossible to tell what is above and below the hands. Below his hands it appears that there is some sort of textured rubber sheet. It's impossible to make out what is above the person's hands. Is that the person's chest or shirt?

I always look at your work and it is always very nice. However, this one stands out a bit more. Very well done!

Shine is an extremely talented photographer with a very graphic approach monochromatic work.. I hope she will post here more often so we can admire her portraiture.
