Hi all, my latest dilemma in installing icc profiles into ON1 Photo Raw 2018. I have scoured the web and searched here without success. I have looked into enabling Soft Proofing and looking into the profiles under "View". I see the profile I want and click on it to select it. When I go to print the picture, I do not see this profile under the printer properties I do not see the profile listed under the Media Type / Photo Papers. I am using windows 10 with the Canon Pixma Pro-100. The profile is from Red River Papers and they don't have any tutorials either for the windows/Canon combination. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, my latest dilemma in installing icc profil... (show quote)

I am not sure what version you are using, but my recently installed update On1 Photo Raw 12.1.1.5088 has this feature, along with two choices for rendering intent (perceptual and relative) and Gamut Warning and Simulate Paper and Ink options.

You don't use the printer profile to print, you only use it to proof your images. Part of a creating a printer profile if you do it yourself is to use the optimum printer settings for paper type, ink flow and drying time, which you determine when you create the profile. If you use a lab's profile or one that is provided by the paper manufacturer, then it will contain instructions for setting the paper and ink settings. You do not use the printer driver to manage colors if you are using a profile to soft-proof.

Hi, I'm using the same revision as you. I went through the steps in the tutorial and have some questions. As I stated, I went into the soft proofing and then into the profiles and selected the Red River Paper profile I wanted to use with the Red River paper I ordered. If I follow all the steps in the tutorial and then print, does the printer use the Red River Profile I selected? I ask this as I do not see Red River in the Media Types. I'm still learning and appreciate all your help.

I use On ! I made most of my paper icm profiles with color Monkey. My Epson printer (P600) also came with a lot of paper profiles. What I do is soft proff make the corrections then pick the paper that I intend to print on, often On1 reports that I'd be better off using another paper which shows less gamet warings. My color space is prophoto.

I'm having the same issue. I put my Red River Paper (and other) ICC color profiles on my Mac in my Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder. I can easily access them on my Mac. But when I want to print from On1 Photo Raw 2018.1 (12.11.5088) using the Print Settings, under Color Management and I select Import Color Profile I see my Mac Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder but my Red River Paper (and other) ICC color profiles don't appear in the folder. Same result when I enable Soft Proofing in On1 Photo Raw 2018.1 and want to import Color Profiles. I do not have this problem with my ICC color profiles when using Lightroom. Would really appreciate any suggestions.
