Fuji X30 in Monte Carlo last Summer. Small, light, cheap. What does anyone think of IQ?

I'm thinking a tad "soft" for my taste. Not bad, just not "snappy."

Agreed. Not helped by a rookie mistake either. ..... the posted jpeg was stored and then downloaded from the free version of Google Photos so it's suffering from that mild compression too. Duh. Thanks for the feedback .

Fuji X series make great travel cameras. Easy to transport and great image quality without the hassle of changing lens. I'm thinking about getting a X70 or X100. Looks like the sky was a bit hazy when you took that shot.

I think Fuji is good for portrait, of course it cannot compare to full frame Nikon, Canon or Sony. For traveler, it has its advantage of light weight, safe and quick. Nice shot ! Thanks.

It shows a lot of detail on a wide angle and it has what appears to be true color. Nice shot.

The IQ is very poor, compared to the Fujifilm "pocket" cameras with
APSC Xtrans sensors... which have about 6 times the area of the
sensor in an X30.
