Shot this plant clipping, that is sitting in a small jar of water, in my kitchen with just the natural light coming from the door, using my Canon 70D and Velvet 56 on f2.8.
I normally shoot at f4, but decided to go with the blur.

Angela, Excellent!!

....I forgot to tell you, the female osprey met up with her mate!!! He didn't have to wait for her as long as last year! I wish there was a place to stop and watch them, but it's a busy area.

Many thanks, Sylvia, I appreciate your always lovely comments... I forgot the name of this houseplant, but what I love about it is that it can live without soil in just water!! So this one sits on my stove!

It's a horsehead philodendron.... I have the mother planted in soil and this piece broke off, so I just keep it in water and it grows roots.

...how's Ted doing??

It's sharp enough where it needs to be and the blur complements nicely.
