As previously posted, I had Canon replace the CF slot on my 7D MK II. All went well and it was repaired and shipped back within 2 days. It was due to arrive this past Saturday, unfortunately, I received a text from FedEx stating they couldn’t deliver it due to the box having the wrong address.
I called FedEx and confirmed that the address on the box and their shipping paper were in fact the correct address! The rep said some one would call me back within the hour. After 3 hours I called them back and was advised they are working on it and they will call me back, that was Saturday.
On Monday I went on line to check the status and noticed that the package was in still in their Jersey City sorting center and was still labeled “wrong address”. I then contacted Canon to let them know what was going on (not their fault) and they also confirmed the address was correct.
So here we are today, the tracking info still shows it in JC, and wrong address! Bottom line the package should have been in their Parsippany NJ shipping center, not JC. Most likely the package was put on the wrong truck hence “wrong address” and I can accept the this does happen, but after talking to a number of FedEx reps one would think I would have received my camera by now. I’ve dealt with FedEx and never had a problem, but this is more of what my experience has been with USPS. Hopefully I’ll eventually get my camera.
Thanks for letting me vent.
On a FedEx shipment I also got the "wrong address" AND "no one to sign for the package". It was the correct address and I was home and the package did not require a signature. They did deliver it a few days later. I think the driver got tired and decided to cancel a few of his deliveries.

Whenever there's been a hiccup in delivery, it's been with FedEx.

Thanks Paloviejo (Old stick) I thought of that scenario too.

Thanks Jerry,
I honestly never had any problems with them. There's always a first, but I'm more frustrated with the way they've failed to address the issue.
FedEx just advised me they are still looking for my camera but are considering that it's lost. This stinks!
say it is lost and let them buy you a new one.

I got Canon involved, hopefully since they selected FedEx they will get the problem resolved quicker. I'm told it takes about 14 days for the claim to process. It would be a lot easier if they found my camera.
Funny, I have always had good luck (knock on wood) with USPS. Someone at Fedex probably took it out for a spin over the weekend. I wouldn't worry about it. Now I HAVE had problems with Fedex.

Unfortunately our P.O. has a terrible reputation. I had a package that took over 3 weeks to get here, it kept going back and forth between 2 cities no where near me, and even found its way to NM!
The best excuse the USPS gave for a lost package was that even though it was not delivered to my address, they did make the delivery and they considered it delivered.
As you are in Jersey, have Bruno pay them a visit. Problem solved.

I’ve noticed a very unusual occurrence that has happened more than once with FedEx.
As an example, I bought a computer on Amazon. It was not Amazon Prime eligible but it was free economy shipping. I forgot exactly where it originated but I think it might have been Ohio. I tracked the package everyday for about 10 days. It went from Ohio to NJ. Sat there for a day or two then moved on out West, way past Ohio. Then it went back to NJ. There for another day or two. Moved to Garden City, NY. Back to NJ. It reached Valley Stream, NY. Finally, I called FedEx and told them to hold it there and went to pick it up.
That was all because it was “Economy Shipping.”
I’ve had other incidents just like that with FedEx “Economy Shipping.”
Other than those few isolated incidents I’ve had good luck with them.
