#2 really does that Les Paul custom gold justice.. Traded a car for one of those guitars, wish I still had it.
It's a Fender Telecaster !

Just curious. #2 was the least popular. What don't we like about #2 with hair and rim light added, more balanced lighting, and cleaner and brighter colors?
If I can jump in here. It is over processed for my liking. I have a tendency to do the same. I noticed it especially in his hair, hands and beard. Over all I really like the photo and subject. Three is creative but I am going to have to go with #1. I find it interesting how other people view the same photos. I have enjoyed looking at your past post.

I like 1 the best as far as photos goes (I tend not to do a lot of PP anyway) but I like what you did in #3 too.
1. Straight out of the camera.

They all are very nice but for me personally, I like #3. You did some very nice graphic design work to it that enhances the image. It all comes together and flows!
I like them all. I think if I was the artist and I was going to get it printed I would tell you I wanted something about 2/3 of the way between #1 and #2. #3 would be great for a web page, flyer, etc. The important thing here is the core photo is really good, it's not like you're editing to "fix" anything, you're really editing to enhance.

I like #3. Like how the arty part fits the image of who and what the man is doing.

Glad to get busted on the Les Paul Comment. Yep, it's a Fender, not a Gibson. Had to know if there was a guitar lover out there. It does lead me to my comment. We are all so focused on good light, proper exposure, white balance everything else that is so important to a good image but we forget the story....I forget about the story anyhow. When I saw the picture I could have cared less about any of the fundamentals. I saw a gold guitar and it reminded me of a Gibson Les Paul I came across over40 years ago. Had not thought about that guitar for years. That image could have been out of focus, over exposed and everything but black and white and it would have been great, for me. Then you start to wonder more about the instrument. Obviously a very nice guitar. Who has owned it over the years, how old is it, where has it been and on and on.. A lot of people could care less, for me there is a story there that is very intriguing. Thanks for taking me back a bunch of years. I needed a guitar and a buddy needed a car..So we thought...
