Can’t stand it any longer!!
The fighting and bitterness of some has always bothered me. So much good on this site from the photo variety, the nicely stated comments and suggestions along with the amount of knowledge, much of with requires looking into or experimenting with, all that for all of us learning and improving as photographers.
I H**E the Attic!! Why do politics have to be inserted into what otherwise is a great forum (minus the bitter comments).
I’m done and am cancelling my subscription. Do not bother to reply to me because I will not receive the replies.

BTW - if you don't like the attic, what are you doing in the attic? You can pick the areas to subscribe and skip / never visit / never see the garbage found in other sections. If you didn't know that, that's on you, not the forum.
Unwatch is another important tool, unless you like watching train wrecks and carnage afterward ....

Do not subscribe to the attic. Unless you’re an extreme left or right and like to argue to raise your blood pressure. It is a cesspool up there.

I learned about the Attic when I first joined and have never thought about it since. Just about every online forum has something similar. I subscribe to the areas I'm interested in and leave the flame wars to others. UHH also has the "ignore" feature, so there are many ways to avoid folks that interfere with the pleasure of discussing and viewing photography.
My activity level here of late has diminished, but not because of lack of interest, but because lack of photo taking!

Based on the responses it appears you have pissed off the peanut gallery. If this is a photography forum; why the need for the attic? Does that section and those discussions and responses have any value to a photography site?

Even photographer's have opinions, sometimes others disagree, so that's why we have an attic! If you can't handle disagreement stay out of those places!

The attic is a place to put the comments and discussoions that are either not relevant nor suitable for polite society. A place where the gloves come off.

This is a photography site. Why would they care what you think about matters other than photography? I worked as an analyst for a Wall St. firm for 36 years. The disagreement I understand. Never understood stupid responses.
