1. Mount Rainier reveals her majestic presence as the fog clears just after sunrise. Shot from a scenic overlook on State Rte 12, west of White Pass.

2. and 3. Autumn ground fog dissipates quickly as the sun rises. Shot in raw so that I could manipulate the white balance to my whims (and whimsy)

Pg. 1 Great shots Linda.

It was a lite rain when I shot the first photo. The second one was fog. It was so foggy I couldn't see the Capitol, so I was looking and shooting other things. I turned around and almost "mist" the fog on the Capitol. You can see the dome has some fog around it. The last one is the Governor's mansion in Jefferson City, Mo.

Wow! Those are really pretty too! Loving this fog theme so far.

On our last visit to Orkney we took a day trip down to the island of Ronaldsay to visit the Tomb of the Eagles, a 5,000yo burial cairn. Within minutes of leaving our flat in Palace a heavy sea fog rolled in which lasted the entire day and kept us from seeing the beautiful scenery along the Churchill Barriers. It was about a mile walk from the visitors' centre to the tomb and we were drenched by the time we made it back to the car.

p13. Just love the composition in #1 and the point of view in #3

A foggy day. I think the camera could see these guys better than I could.

p13 I know the deer are a nuisance in that area, but aren't they graceful and beautiful?

I have looked at and loved 14 pages of photos of fog and rainy weather! There are so many good ones here, I can't possibly comment on them all. Obviously we photographers know a good thing............fog makes for some wonderful shots. I will be back later with something to contribute.
