Probably my favorite "non-National Park" stop along the tour was Dead Horse Point SP., either because it is adjacent to Canyonlands NP and shares many of the same qualities (and views) with it, or because the weather was phenomenal while I was there. There were storms to the left, storms to the right, terrific clouds everywhere and sun-spotlit patches "here-and-there." Periodically, there would be squalls of tiny balls of ice (like it was raining "dippin-dots"). Then the sun would peek through and the clouds would swirl-off in another direction.
Nice set of my wife's favorite park!

Thank-you very much, Mike. Hope your wife likes them, too.
In the river shot, a couple from the end, you can see one of the trails down below. I've been told that there's a couple of places where some people will get out and walk rather than ride. I'm going to Moab in June and hope to try some of the trails as well as visiting some of the places I didn't get to when I was last there for a week. The four wheeling is immense and fabulous but your cellphone won't get a signal so you need to be prepared.
A really fine set, cameraf4! If only we could get those pesky potash evaporation ponds put somewhere else. Like on Mars or Pluto or somewhere. Weather/sky does indeed perform wonders on already wonderful landscape.

Thanks, Cany. May have been my favorite day of the trip.

Thanks, Bill. Certainly different from Delaware, although now that my forsythia is blooming, I know it's gonna be getting really beautiful around here soon.
Very nice set. The clouds give real drama to that wonderful landscape.
I just went through a box of old family photo's, one was a black and white of my Dad and me and my two older brothers standing on the lookout at Dead Horse point. Dated 1958. Yours are much better! Thanks for posting.
