Is it just me. The pictures seem to have a blue tint. White balance?
Just an amateur! I'll get better.

I've recently "discovered" the color temperature bar in Picasa. I think it's found by pressing the second or third button from the left. It can really make a big difference in how a pic looks. I haven't really experimented with PS7 yet (which I generously received from a guy in my camera club). I'm sure it can do much more than I will ever need to do (or have the patience to learn about).
Where is this beautiful place?
Western NY just north of the PA border, west of Binghamton, near Corning.
Very beautiful and i bet it was fun to photograph as well.
I grew up in Hornell. Spent a lot of time at Seneca Lake. It's a beatiful area. It's been a long time since I've been to Watkins Glen. Thanks for sharing.

My aunt and uncle live in Ithaca. My dad said that he can see his old house from ancient aerial pics of the former airport, and his dad used to work for the Thomas-Morse Aircraft factory (defunct) that made training aircraft during WWI. There's a lot of history in that town. My niece even goes to Cornell. I will have to try to get to Watkin's Glen next time I head over that way for a reunion (whenever that will be)

they look bluish on my monitor..what about yours?
OK, OK, OK I couldn't resist. I have a program the tells me the EXIF. It told me that the white balance was set on incandescent, true or false?
What a great place! All those photo opportunities! Love the photos :)
