Out of all nature's creatures, few are as beautiful as the parrots. You captured them very well, Angela.

Thank you, pesfls, for your visit and comment... they are bright and beautiful and what vocabularies!!! I'd love to own one, but with cats, I can't!
Glad you enjoyed!

Karen... I'm a birder if they stay still and let me shoot, but I'm not into hunting them down and sitting for hours waiting for one to come by and forget about shooting one that's moving!! lol...
This place was my cup of tea... lots of birds that posed!!

Thanks John, glad you enjoyed... they are beautiful and these talked up a storm... so we got along great! Even though I love parrots and any bird that's indoors, I had a lovebird for 16 years, I think cats are more cuddly and lovable!!

And that is precisely how I became infected by the bird bug. They sit quietly and just slowly snooker you in and you don’t have a clue until it’s way too late to so anything about it. Watch out. There is no known cure.

They are all so beautiful, Angela---excellent set, and on taking them home, the experts say not a good idea because their numbers in the wild are being depleted for these purposes, and another reason is that many live a very long life and really become attached to a person and if they outlive that person they may never get over it and that trauma may cause their death, but they are very intelligent and beautiful!

Glad you enjoyed these, Corky.... I certainly did when I was talking to them!! My niece has a cockatoo and has him in her will to go to her son... I know they live a long time and can outlive their human. I had a lovebird for 16 years and that size was a lot easier to handle!! I just love having a bird as a pet, but with the cats, I can't do that anymore.
