Best book or author for Nikon D-850?

I expect to receive my new D-850 sometime soon (replacing my D-800). I fully appreciate the need to read the provided manual (although I suspect it will be online.) In the past I have been able to follow and get more out of one or more of the rash of "How To" books on a specific camera model. I would appreciate hearing from my fellow Hogs what book or author you would recommend if I were to buy just one of the available books. Thank you.

David Busch's D850 guide. I have it on my iPad in the Kindle app, and refer to it constantly.

I've had my D850 for 3 months now. I absolutely love it.
I'd recommend checking out Steve Perry's (he's a UHH member) website: https://backcountrygallery.com/ He has D850 in Review video as well as a Nikon D850 Unboxing and Menu Setup video.
Also, I've found with previous DSLR's, David Busch's books to be very helpful, haven't checked it out yet on the D850. Amazon has it for $35 for the paperback.
Hope this helps,
Bev

MT Shooter and rgrenaderphoto - thank you both for your quick response. I'm looking forward to the challenge of learning and incorporating the new features of the D-850. I'm just hoping that they won't come out with a D-860 right away as they did when I bought the D-300 and later the D-800.

Thank you all for weighing in. I'll decide soon and start getting familiar with the camera before I pick it up.

For "the best," I would get two books. Each will have something the other doesn't. Be sure to get the eBook on focusing my our member - Steve Perry.

David Busch and Darrell Young are also good.

Steve Perry for Auto Focus on Nikons in general which is the toughest thing to master.

Look at David Busch;a book on the NIKON 850. In my judgement all of his book are jewels ... well explained, well illustrated, easy to read. Some are available as -ebooks.

Enjoy the NIKON D850 ... one great camera .

Regards,

Lloyd
