Final National Park on the tour was, of course, the Grand Canyon. Can't believe it was my first visit. The night before I arrived, there was a 3inch snow storm there. So cool! Arrived via East entry.

Nice! If you can, go back in a different season for a different experience. We've only been there once, in mid-June, but would love to see it in the snow, too.

Thanks, insman. Right you are. The weather OUT WEST was perfect for my camera. It was just getting out-of-and-back-into-Philly that was the problem. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Thanks, big Blue. Nice suggestion, but considering that it took me 67 years to get out there the first time, I'd give long odds against a return trip while I'm still healthy enough to walk around the rim. But I can tell you, the snow was magical. Escape that Michigan snow and get yourself west in late-winter. You'll thank me.
