More info would be needed. Do you want to know how to shoot the sunrise? Do you want to know how to keep your camera from getting sand and grit in it while you are there?

Any type of tips would be great I have a canon t2i. I want to get a sunset photo and take some pics at the beach. I also plan to go to a nature park too. I have no clue what to expect there. But I will be out on a boat for a couple hours. I know there is a light house there somewhere.

Sand is a problem for cameras? More info on this would be nice to

Thank you for your time and support.

Yes you have to be careful at the beach. Definitely no changing lenses while outside. If the wind is blowing it could blow sand into the camera. Also the salty wet air is not too good for the camera and lens. You need to watch those things. The water is definitely not good for the camera and lense so be careful not to get too close and lose grip of that camera. Wouldn't want you to have to replace it. I'm sure you know the best times to shoot are right before sunset and right before sunrise. I am not sure of the settings because I don't shoot sunrises and sets that much. It is also going to depend on how stong the sun is when you take the pic. A tripod would be good to have. Double check your horizon when you set the pic up so you don't have anything "falling/sliding" out of the frame. that's about all I have for now. I hope this helps some and I am sure others will chime in with some helpful tips.

I have never been bothered by sea sickness. But that was way years ago.

It's funny you ask this question. I could write a book on this subject. Lets just say I've had my share of nightmares at the beach. I don't bring my camera ON the sand at all anymore. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO SAND WILL GET IN SOMEHOW. If you must, wrap your camera in a plastic baggy or put tape on any holes or seam that could allow sand in. Wash your hands after you handle suntan oil or lotion. If you're going to lay out in the sand keep the camera inside a plastic bag sealed.
As far as equipment I've found you want a good zoom as well as wide angle lens for sunsets and landscapes. If you have a DSLR a circular polarizer and a gradient ND filter comes in handy. Bring a hand towel and a blower for your lens. Make sure no sand is on the lens prior to cleaning it and also check that the towel doesn't have sand in it. I've scratched a brand new screen that way and a lens or two. Use a blower or brush as much as possible for cleaning your lens. Other than that have a good time and try not to get to sunburned. :)
