Greetings. I'm new to the world of DLSR's...I've been using a point and shoot Nikon for years (back when a 4mp camera was popular. The camera I was using, had many lenses available so I bought and used them all. Also available was an underwater housing. I started doing shallow diving (rivers and ponds). Now...I've retired from diving, and would love to learn DLSRs and post processing. My interest is B&W of old buildings, train trestles and actual trains. I also believe there is a "nitch" in photographing the graffiti on rail cars, having the pictures printed up as tiny decals and sold to model railroader's to add realism to their rolling stock. I have a nice Canon T2i with 5 lenses. the 2 kit lenses, (18-55, 70-300). I've added the 50mm, 100mm macro and a 12mm-28mm wide angle. Any help or suggestions on PP software for a simpleton like myself would be great! I'm so glad to meet everyone here. respectfully trainspotter.

Welcome to the hog. I have seen some colorful tail cars. The idea of decals sounds like a good one.👍

Welcome aboard.
Careful on getting onto the cottage industry business. I've known several that as soon as people found and liked their products, they suddenly found themselves facing way more orders than they ever dreamed of, or could concieve of filling. It's bad if you have a job you have to go to every day. Being retired helps, but could have an affect on retirement plans. I'm not trying to scare you. I just want you to be aware.

Good luck!
