I know the moose isn't very good, but I love it anyway. LOL
Very nice. I was wondering how your trip went. Did you have a good time?

Must have been on a private ranch/herd or really really lost. LOL
There are moose in Colorado. I've seen them near Granby and there are some near Grand Junction.
i go to Colorado every summer and have been to that church several times, can't ever get the perfect shot though. Looks like you succeeded, it is beautiful! And the moose picture is awesome !!!
Try visiting Rocky Mountain NP if you want to see moose--check the Grand Lake area.

We had a really great time! Spent much of our time on the road driving, but got to see some beautiful country. Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, everything was so interesting.
And the food!!!! OMG, no matter where we ate, it was just awesome! Stopped in one small town (I can't remember the name) where the restaurant only served one item each night. Wonderful dinner, and the baked potato......geez, I still talk about that baked potato, was unbelievable! I am wondering if the altitude has anything to do with the way that potato was?????
We were so sad to see the fires over there by where we ended up staying in Colorado Springs. Just terrible!

There were actually 3 moose that we saw and I am sure they were wild. My husband and I were very surprised. We stood out there watching them for almost an hour. But they were at a distance and the grass/weeds were very tall and they had their heads down most of the time either eating or drinking from the creek, so I didn't get many good pics.
I was surprised to see that they were a very dark brown, almost black. They were really very pretty!

That church was awesome! I wish my photos would have done it justice, showing how it looked like it was coming out of the rocks. But I wasn't able to capture it the way I wanted. It was so beautiful!!!

Thank you. I think the moose is to blurry, but it just felt like he was posing for me for that split second and I like the photo for that reason. LOL
