My Newest Mini Rose...
...that I bought at the Hicks Spring Garden Show!
I couldn't pass up this color and knew it would be a perfect model for my lensbabies...
Fully opened, these roses are not quit 2" across.
These were all taken with my Canon 70D, Composer Pro w/ Sweet 50 +16mm macro converter.
Hope you enjoy!!

Many thanks, Rich.... I told you babies are addicting, but also lots of $$$
I like this set up because I like to get up close, but you can also get close with the Velvet56. The minimum focusing distance is 5".... I've never tried it, but I would image you can add an extension tube to it, to get closer!

That is not very good, lets hope it goes quickly like the last lot. We are doing very well with the rain and the garden has gone back to a very muddy lawn. Blue is so bouncy and big that he leaves large muddy footprints about and has tracks in the lawn where he skids to a halt at the moment in the wet...

It is supposed to melt right away and with the rain tomorrow that will help, but they say another storm is brewing for this weekend. My poor plants are trying desperately to pop and this is confusing them all!!
LOL... I can just picture Blue slopping in the mud... that must be a mess when he comes inside!!! Between rain and snow and everything in between... this is not a happy spring~
Beautifully done, Angela.

that little miniature rose is giving you so much enjoyment, and for us as well! Beautifully rendered, love the textured b.gs. that add to the artistry. Well done, my friend.
