Had to drive 2 hours to get to this event, but it was worth it.
Excellent, plus gas is cheap where you are. Beatuliful action shots of an under appreciated sport.
Excellent action shots. My granddaughter, 7, is a blooming barrel racer. Her mom is a large animal vet and a "header" (even made the front cover of Pro Rodeo mag) and dad is the "heeler" in team roping. Thanks for sharing. Wish we had warmer weather right now so we could have the competition outdoors instead of in a covered area which is bad lighting and dusty.
WOW.....excellent action shots! Well taken! The little girl on the horse is priceless too!
I’m thinking the horses have more fun than the riders. Well maybe the little girl is an exception
That little girl and her horse in #3 picture are adorable,
that is my speed too !

Excellent action shots....Rich
Very good action shots Paul, Texas style.
It took most of the morning to get all of the shots loaded to my site. I shoot Barrel Racing about every two weeks for one of two organizations. I got lucky on this shoot and got their early and shot alot of the warm ups. Didn't realize I would have to flash them late because of how many contestants they had. And to this point in the afternoon I have sold more of the flash shots than the day shots. I always post every thing that is in focus and framed well even if I don't like the shot. You never know what people will buy.
