I found this rhipsalidopsis, or Easter cactus, at our local Hope Depot store. I was attracted by the beautiful bright pink/magenta blooms and decided to take it home. We transferred it from its tiny plastic pot into a larger clay pot, added some more soil, and now it resides on our patio. And of course it made a perfect subject for some closeup and macro photos. For all of these images except the first one, I had the camera mounted on a tripod. Because there was an intermittent slight breeze, I used shutter speed of 1/500 sec, f/9 for all but the last one, and auto ISO. Posting 5 images. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.

Tom, these are lovely shots! I love the vibrant color and the blossom is a great choice for close shots. Well done and quite appealing!
I think I would have been tempted as well.... but I'm out of room!!
Beautiful shots, Tom, of this very lovely plant that now has a new home and always willing to pose!!!
