Would appreciate your opinions. Do you like the idea of adding a drop shadow and border like this?

If you were going to display would you add a frame?

Appreciate your imput and thanks,

Steve

If I was going to display I would add a mat and float the image, not a border or drop shadow in photoshop. It's a personal prefence, I don't like photoshop borders as I think they take away from the image.

I like it, I just think the drop shadow is to big, cut back on the size.

Beautiful Picture!!!!

Is it me, or is the focus off? I would take out the drawing of the dragonfly at the top of the tree.

I think the border is distracting, better without it. How did the dragonfly get in the photo?

The framing you did looks great, but photo seems over saturated in the blue. Maybe that was what you were trying to achieve. Just my personal thought.

Thanks to all for your comments and offers. The dragon fly was captured by accident ( what good eyes you have ) and I really kicked up the saturation just for fun. Taff. You did a great job. This leads to a follow up on my part. If you had a gorgeous frame as Taff did, would you print it and display it that way ( as in a local photography club show ) ?

Much cheaper than buying a nice frame and I wouldn't hesitate to use this as framing for a photo club. The frames I use are wide black frames and are $15 at Walmart. That's for prints I want to display for sale. This seems like a good idea for photo club---I used to use a plastic matte and then just switch photos each month.............
