The air was a clear as one would hope for early in the morning. This was the 2nd full moon this month, which is called the Blue Moon. Hope everyone got a chance to see it.

The same moon. It was dawn and I saw the moon against a blue sky. My daughter is an earth and space teacher so I knew she would like to see this. Do not recall this bright of a moon at this time of day.

The air where I live was unusually clear as well. I took a few shots, none very good, but I was surprised to see my hand held shots with images stabilization turned on are better than the tripod shots with stabilization turned off.

The lens is a Cannon 70-300 mm on a tripod from my patio. Just started this hobby,so I don't have many lenses.
