Many thanks, Eileen. I was using my trusty Nikon Df with Nikon's 28-200mm AF-G. Kinda wished that I had had a wider lens, but the trail was really "dicey" in places and one camera and lens was all I could handle. After the hike, my wife bought the book "Death in Zion" and read to me about folks who had fallen off the trail. At least I heard about if "after-the-fact."
