My understand is, Canon will repair, for a charge, all Canon products. No warranty on import.

I think you should reduce your price a little. I know it's never been used before but if you go to Canon's online store you can get a refurbished one for at least $150 less with warranty. I assume that your lens is more than a year old and the even if you were to provide the B&H receipt it would be out of warranty. You should have used it. This lens a superb and the sharpest lens in its class.
