Thank you for looking. I was heading for some Osprey nests that I monitor for Audubon and he got in the way! A tripod and some PP knowledge would go a long ways! I had the tripod in the trunk and that's my story.

Excellent capture...lots of twigs and branches to get in your way and you mastered the capture!!

Hi Dave, nice catch - carry the body pod in the car with you to use as a carpod - I carry mine in the back seat - next to the camera......

Thanks for commenting, but no skill involved...I followed this guy for half a mile as he progressed and he picked the spots! Most of the other shots were were quite obscured.

I wasn't smart enough to think of that. The Osprey just started returning a few days ago and I was checking some nests for Audubon when this guy showed up. Grey skies and sprinkles...lesson learned.

Gee, do you think my mono with a ball head would work?? Maybe a gimbal?
