My photos for the next week will be a little different. It's the Indian Holi festival, a.k.a. Festival of Colors (purportedly the largest such in the U.S.). It's a celebration of the arrival of spring. As befitting its name, there won't be any black and white shots.
All photos were taken with my Ricoh GR II. It's a small, light camera with a fixed 28mm focal length lens. It's basically a point-and-shoot camera, so most of these were taken at waist level. And it was protected by being covered with my hands. Many people with DSLRs wrapped them in plastic.
Keeping in mind that the whole point is to spread the color, come see some happy people.
I like the two close-ups.
Thank you for sharing.

Nope, Voss. I didn't hear a thing. Honest.
Looking forward to seeing your Hindi-inspired street shots.

I hope not to disappoint.
What a great way to welcome Spring. The people of India do have some really nice customs. Great photos Voss and I look forward to more.

Thanks, dragonfist. There's more color coming.
Nice ones--good reason for using color.
