What a horrible photo! Moon is in the wrong place, the spotlighting effect is all wonky, foreground is way too sharp, and let's not even get into the disastrous lack of saturation in the distant cliffs. What's more, YOU KNOW I'M BEING COMPLETELY SNARKY!

Hiker, I was set up watching a sunset that just wasn't materializing. I turned around and this scene was unfolding behind me. I quickly repositioned the tripod and camera and made the exposure. It always pays to look around even when one's attention is focused on something else.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited. I've hiked it 5 times to the bottom and back (and rim to rim). It doesn't get any better than this!
