Hello. I am new to the Forum.
I haven't picked a real camera up since just before Christmas in 1980. I went in shopping for Christmas presents at Military Shopping Center in Virginia Beach Virginia. I came out from buying gifts and found my trunk popped open i. E. A broken into. The trunk contained several beater camera mostly ishika products with a bunch of Carl's lenses to go with the Yashica cameras. 35 mm and twin lens reflex. Then I saw all of my medium formats were gone! Which included Mamiyas (2) and a Hasselblad. Believe me the the medium format cameras head every Bell and whistle you can imagine. I lost my heart for The Craft it never touched anything but a throwaway camera or cheap digital until a month ago. So being afraid that I may have lost my skills and knowledge I only bought a crop frame camera. I'm sure I will do great with it until next year when I want a full frame hahaha! Thank you all for being here. I'm sure I'm going to need some help.
Thank you very much. That's just the rhyme and she hasn't even been manipulated. I'm still on my learning curve. The camera is not a big deal I can always shoot in manual! About what Lightroom, Photoshop and GIMP I have a lot to learn.
Welcome to the forum. I know the feeling. I had my Nikon equipment stolen many years ago including a F1 and an F4 with a number of lenses. I did the same thing and stayed away from cameras for a number of years. Glad I'm back in now.
