I don't claim to be any expert. This is just what I would do. But before that, let me say, I really, really like the bottom picture. If I felt the need to change it, the first thing I would do is increase the contrast. Also, if you use lightroom, I would look at some of the black and white presets and get a feel for what you really like. Lightroom CC I think has the best presets, but lightroom classic has some nice ones too. And so does photshop. You may have to photograph in camera raw though for the best results. Not sure about that. It might be really nice too, to do a basic black and white, but put a little color in somewhere. Any number of possibilities, and nothing is going to please everyone. But some things might please most. Nevertheless, the pictures are nice and have potential for any number of variations.

Thank you.
I don’t have light room cc but was thinking of getting it until I heard a rumor that it was being discontinued. Just a rumor that I haven’t verified yet.

The revised tree picture is better with more contrast, but the POV is wrong. You would have a better picture without the table drawing your eye to it. Zoom out, or step back, pan up and have the tree as your main focus, getting just a little sky and more width of the tree in the shot. Try shooting at a more wide open aperature and longer shutter to get less of the background in focus (bokeh). The same shot taken about 10 feet to the left getting an angle that does not include the table and framing the tree as the entire subject would be more dramatic.

Because of the framing and bokeh, the feather and the swing shots have more impact.

As far as I can see there is nothing earth shateringin in any of these . Any one with a camera can take these all day long
And they do .I do also . It takes a lot of work to make a wotthy picture out of every day stuff you find in a park . The time of day
And light is. One the key things, ,and this isent it . I dont know what you can do . Just keep taking a lot of pic, and find some park
shots in library books, and note the difference.

Close down the aperture to get more of the foreground/background in focus, or learn focus stacking. Will make the images far more effective.
