On a cloudy day looking up through a grove of Douglas Firs. This is straight out of my Canon xTi Rebel with it's 18-55mm kit lens. I can't remember which auto setting I was on. I think it's too dark but my wife likes it so I thought I'd share.
I remember a few years back when I joined that I said I wasn't interested in learning about f-stop and all the other detail control functions of photography. Donna was right and here I find myself studying all the functions and experimenting with them. I'm not so sure it's fun but it's definitely a means to an end, panoramas.
Suggestions greatly appreciated.
Makes you a little dizzy if you stare at it long enough.
Really nice shot! If you look at the image caused by the branches around it, it looks like a ghost! :)
