I enjoy many kinds of trees in this area, I would like to see yours, too. I also enjoy using special effects on them.
Thanks for hosting, Karin. Sure to be a favorite.

PG #1 - Great images, Maggie. That last one looks just like what's in my front yard...on the second day of spring.

Trees are fun to capture with ones camera. Here come a few from some road trips or vacation. (No.....we didn't quite road trip to Hawaii!) Bob

Have tons of pictures of trees, many of which fall into my "favorite images" category, and most I've posted before, so forgive the old guy his repetitious ways...I claim advanced senility...
Trees in my front yard; Crabapple tree in foreground, Weeping Cherry in background. (Hope todays snow didn't kill this years buds...sigh.)

Sequioa Trees from Oregon (1974) Hope they're still there today after all the fires last summer. I liked the way the sun was highlighting the trunk and branches.
Hi, Karin! Here's a trio of tree shots to add to the many your topic is bound to attract.
Standing room only
A frosty load
A Bavarian vista

Thanks Rolk.....for taking the time to check out my far reaching variety of trees. I tried to imagine myself in that last photo when I was posting it! There's a pool right behind my back & I had been making good use of it prior to taking that shot. Aloha! Bob

OK...."old guy"......hopefully your Crabapple tree, etc will survive the snow & have large blooming buds....soon! Your special effect with the "same trees on a windy day" really caught my attention & I could almost feel the movement. Your favorite "gnarly tree" had me wanting to climb into the picture & to sit on one of its strong branches, much like I did as a kid in New England. And the "root system" tree I believe is a Banyan Tree. At least that's what they call them in Hawaii. Great selection...thanks!
