Here's a shot of my 2 relaxing at home. And yes, it's their sofa!
That is one cool shot! Those two have it made!
Yes they do! Thanks for looking Wizz.
This was Elvira she just passed away Saturday. I found her as a little pup and she lived about 13 years. RIP

Terribly sorry to hear of your loss. She looked like a very sweet puppy. My heart goes out to you...
For all those of us who have lost a special companion
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together

Thank you 2 Dog Don and Sands,
I was with her when she passed. It was just us, it was quiet, I pet her head and talked to her as it was happening. I know we will meet again someday and for now she's out of pain and running with my other departed fur kids waiting for the day we meet again. :)
My Brittany is very curious.. not too bright.. but curious!

It's important that you could be with her. After all they do for us, it's just right that we share their final moments and let them know how very special they are. And I agree with you... we will see them again!

Our Rescue, Aja, waiting for John to catch another fish!
I Like Fish!
dogs give us something so special and unique ;nothing else is so tuned in on our emotions; and loves us without expecting anything but kindness ; their short lives give us that chance experience that unconditional love over and over!
Everyone's friend that was posted here are all amazing, beautiful Dogs. I too have Dogs and will post them later. It makes my heart glad that so many people 'Adopt a Dog instead of Shop for one'! I work with a lot of rescue groups in the South Florida area to rescue abused and abandoned Dogs and whenever I see one go to a new forever loving home, it brings tears to my eyes. Thank ALL of you for caring!
