Thanks Swamp-Cork for the kind comment. I agree and been more than slowing down the past few years. The quick 2 day drive down I-75 to Florida has now become a 3 to 4 day jaunt. Also I now find that doing BIF's handheld with my 150-600 (specially at the far end) is just a fond memory. But life is what you make it and me and the better half are still having a helluva time and plan to continue to do so till the last minute.

Ron, I took a few minutes and look back at some of the beautiful images on your past topics.....We also have Taken short visits to Florida several times and think you are doing great considering your location to make it in 3 or 4 days. We live near Williamsburg, Virginia and it usually takes us two days to make it down to about Titusville! We haven't made it down for the last two seasons and sure would like to be viewing those beautiful waders that can be seen while driving down Black Point Trail on Merritt Island, but anyway we are seeing a fair number of birds around the house so far this season. Incidentally, I'm 77 and my wife, Ellen's was 75 on the twelfth and we celebrated our 55th anniversary on the 15th of this month and we are still chugging along. Take care!
