I did not tie this fly I found it on a YouTube video, although I think may tie a couple and give it a try. Just thought I would share with the group. By the way it is a screen shot from my Droid phone.

No frying to be done I fish with barbless hooks most of the time, catch a lot of native brooks so no kill.

I've heard of that catch and release stuff :). Don't know if I understand the philosophy completely, but each to his own.

In my youth, I loved to fly fish (mostly for bluegill and bass) and made my own rods, Fenwick fiberglass back then. Several years ago, when I stopped enlarging and had retired, I converted the enlarging part of my darkroom to a fly tying area. I did that for a couple of years then lost interest. It was just one too many hobbies.

I understand having to many hobbies, you need to get one of those fly rods back out and enjoy an afternoon catching a few bluegills again. Barbless hooks allow for catch and release, I have never got into rod building I don't have a place with enough room for proper rod building. Oh and buy the way fenwick made some best blanks and also commercially built rods out there and I have a handful of them. Gud day
