Hey all,
One of my favorite images in recent memory is this one of Kirkjufellsfoss in Iceland on the Snaefellsnes peninsula near the town of Grundarfjadour. We arrived at the waterfall the day before but the weather was awful and the trail to the waterfall was under about 4 ft. of water. We came back the next day to partly cloudy skies and the trail was bone dry, apparently the tide was in while we were there the day before. This is one of the more recognizable locations in Iceland and it was a dream to photograph but all dreams must come to an end. I wrote about it on my blog, I highly suggest reading
part 1 then reading part 2 which is linked in the blog. Without a doubt, one of the wildest things to ever happen to me and makes this photo beyond special for me.
Camera settings were: Canon 5D Mk. III, 16-35mm f/4 lens, 10x ND filter.
First class landscape and composition.
Well taken.

I don't recall seeing a shot from this point of view. Great job of finding a composition that most people don't see or take. Really good shot.
Great picture. Having a Canon T7I what would the settings be for a handheld Sigma 18-250 or Canon 10-18?
I can see why the Nordics settled there.

illininitt I would think the setting would be the same... tho the time was not mentioned nor f stop used. Not all ND filters with same # are exactly equal, and sensitivity of sensors are not linear and equal... But the conditions given along with exposure time would be close. Fix the f stop and play with the time.... digital film is low cost.
Lovely, I'd like to see the shot pre post processing.

Thanks! Here's the pre-post-processing
I'm generally not a big fan of "cotton puff" waterfalls, but this is a damn fine shot and I really like it!
