I would like to take a moment to say hello. I am looking forward to learning from others that might know more than me.
I just treated myself to my first DSLR camera. I chose the Nikon D5100 with an 18mm-55mm lens, and added a 55-300 mm f/4.0-5.6G AF-S DX VR Telephoto Zoom Nikkor Lens.
This is my first serious attempt dabbling in photography. I hope to learn from my mistakes, and make a few friends long the way!

Welcome, i also just purchased the Nikon D5100 with those lenses and i LOVE it. Still learning....
