Playing with a little post-processing--wondering if I should crop off about a third of the right side.

I don't think so, I like it the way it is. Good job, John.

John,

Great Sepia Post processing. If you leave the image the way it is, your eye has a path to leave the image. If you crop the right side to the Trees, your eye as a place to stop looking and scan again. My 2 cents.

Cropping some off the right side could help you composition. Nice image John.

Leave as is. Love the way you've captured the mood of the day. Great use of available light!

I would not crop it! Where specifically was this taken?

Personally, I like it the way you have it. I like that mountains start high on the left and give a line to the lower portion to the right. Seems to balance.

Thanks--that’s what I’m wondering about.

Thanks, Dave. I honestly can’t say where specifically--it was on one of the pull-offs of the main road somewhere after leaving Old Faithful, on the left side of the road.
