Cool shot. It’s typical of what one might see on a nice weekend day at a park. I like the B&W.

Cool looking elderly couple. Is that at one of those holiday gatherings the Mexican people hold for the dead? I notice the program says "Muertos" on the back cover and whatever the lady is holding looks rather macabre.I had to look up up muertos to get a translation. My Spanish skills are next to nothing. They remind me of the wife and I. I get to look at the program when we get home after the event is over. Very nice shot Voss. I look forward to your photos.

Crop out the garbage can would make it better. Nice shot other than that.

"Brute"? As in "Et tu Brute"? ("Beware the Ides of March!")

Would the gent be the famous resident of North Pole, expecting directions from his Missus?

Several variations of stories to work out from the photo.

The advantages of great street photography.

The chap in the dark hat. Elvin Secret Service?

Good shot Voss. I fine the background at least as interesting as the couple that are the main subject.

Thanks, dragonfist. You called it. It was taken at the Dia de los Muertos festival in San Antonio last fall. It's an upbeat Latin holiday to honor family and friends, to celebrate life, and to remember those who have gone on.

Thanks, nikonbug. It would be great to get rid of the can, but it would leave them kind of short-legged. It was a tradeoff; I just felt long legs on the woman might look better.
