Newby old fart to your generous forum. Have used Canon for years with some nice lenses and now also have a Nikon 7000. Is there a fast way to turn off the flash in the Canon 7D; it is no longer on the top switch like the 60D and prior. So much of what I enjoy taking is in natural low light where I don't want the flash. Also, seems to me the Nikon 7000 does a better job of exposure than the Canon 7D. What am I missing there. Many thanks!
You can't turn it off in auto or creative auto modes.
Switch to P if you want to remain mostly auto without using flash.
Toss the canon in the garbage..or give it to the poor..and just shoot with that D7000..LOL
