Is my iPhone 5s too old and subpar to talk to my D500? I have no success following the instructions. It would be nice to use this but not a real tragedy for me.
It's not your iPhone, it's Snapchat.
I was trying to use SnapBridge.

It's not your phone it's Snapbridge, it just isn't that good. I disabled it after a week or so, I found it was more of a battery drain than useful. As the camera will try and keep the connection up and running as long as the camera is turned on, even when not transferring images, which can be slow and painful at best.
A while back I downloaded Snapbridge on my Motorola Droid and Samsung Galaxy tablet. They both acted quirky. I deleted it off my phone. I downloaded the newest version of Snapbridge to the Samsung. It's been working fine . Check the version. It will drain the D500 battery.

Correct, I was mistaken. Ok, its not your phone it's SnapBridge, a crappy application.
Thanks everyone. My battery does seem to drain too quickly. I'm taking SnapBridge off.
Nothing was mentioned about the benefits of snapbridge! That is the remote function for camera. I love it. Yes snapbridge does drain your battery, just gotta remember to disable bluetooh & wifi. gets easier to remember after having battery going dead a few times. With that said I found an easy fix for this and some other D500 quirks! I remove battery
Good idea. I really would like to be able to use this function, I just have to study it some more. Thanks all for suggestions.
