That was quite a brutal test and I am really amazed it still worked. Of course the whole thing was unrealistic and he should have tested it doing some more conventional mishaps.

A friend of mine dropped his Nikon D800 with the 200-400mm lens and it caused $900 damage. He doesn't get it back until next Friday. Fell on dirt, not asphault or concrete.
